Policies & Procedures
Clear expectations, so every visit goes smoothly.
Our goal is to provide outstanding care for your cat and excellent service for you. Please review our policies below. If you have any questions, we’re happy to help.

Appointments
- We see patients by appointment only and do not accept walk-ins. Drop-off appointments must be scheduled in advance and are at the doctor’s discretion.
- Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. If we are unable to see your cat on a certain day, you may schedule for another day or seek care at an area emergency or urgent care clinic.
- An emergency visit may be subject to an additional $30 fee.
- Please arrive on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule.
- Please call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $25 cancellation fee. No-shows or failure to call will incur a $25 no-show fee.
- A non-refundable deposit is required for all surgeries and anesthetic procedures at the time of scheduling. If rescheduled more than 24 hours in advance, the deposit may be transferred once. Reschedules with less than 24 hours’ notice or more than one reschedule will require a new deposit.
Records
New clients are asked to bring any previous medical records to the first appointment. If records are not available, we may ask that you contact your previous clinic so we can obtain them before proceeding.
To request records from our clinic, please call or email. Fees apply for printed or mailed records: $10 for faxing or printing and $15 for mailing. There is no fee for email requests. Please allow 24–48 hours for processing.
Vaccines
- All patients are required to be up-to-date on their rabies vaccination. Exceptions for severe vaccine reactions or medical conditions that prevent vaccination are considered on a case-by-case basis at the doctor’s discretion.
- We highly recommend all cats be up-to-date on their FVRCP vaccination. This vaccine is required for any cat staying in the clinic for dental procedures and/or surgery.
Prescriptions
- Most food and medication prescriptions can be filled at our clinic or through our online stores. A written prescription is required for any outside pharmacy (including online) or pet store.
- To request a written prescription, please ask at your appointment or call the clinic. If requested outside of an appointment, please allow up to 48 hours for preparation.
- For medication refills through the clinic or our online store, please allow up to 48 hours for approval and processing.
Payment
- Payment is due at the time of service. We do not offer billing or payment plans. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, CareCredit, and cash. We do not accept personal checks.
Client and Patient Privacy
- We will only discuss a patient’s care or a client’s account with the person(s) listed on the account. We do not release information to anyone else, including family or friends, without the original account holder’s written permission.
